Why the twist, and what is it exactly?

I want to introduce myself.

My name is Michele, way too formal for me, though, so I like to be called Shel.

My idea started from a young age, 16 to be precise.

Growing up in Sydney and having a family background of artists and seamstresses, my role would be clear, and with a personality like mine, I couldn't hold back my enthusiasm for the adventurous world of photography.

I have always enjoyed capturing a super expressive side of people, no matter what age.

The twist comes from making the photographic experience unique, stylish, stunning and finding that inner personality that we sometimes forget is there. Building self-confidence and beauty from within is the most essential part of my photo shoots.

Exploring the magical landscape of the magnificent coastal views of the fabulous Central Coast of NSW, I have to say, has been my key to success.

Once I decided to create this fantastic world of imagination, it was easy to see why GMS costumes where a perfect fit for this adventure.

If you ever dreamed of becoming someone else for a day or dressing up as any character you could think of, this is for you.

Capturing you in the landscape brings out the hidden hero or romantic disposition and creates a different way of seeing the incredible energy you have inside.

This photography is meant to inspire, motivate and bring out who you can truly be, and I have noticed by the time the session is over, I see a new, uplifted person before me.

I was so proud to introduce this romantic, stylised vision to the fabulous people of the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter Regions.

Portrait photography should be different and interesting; it should light up the senses and ignite that inner presence. You should want to jump, run, lay on the sand and feel the breathtaking events that make the day special for all who partake.

 As you can see, I'm super passionate about my photography with a twist and want to share it with as many people as possible.
